Ken Watanabe in Martin Scorsese’s Japanese-Langauge ‘Silence’

Ken Watanabe has joined the cast of “Silence” , next Martin Scorsese’s movie.

This is an adaptation of Shusaku Endo’s : set in 17th century the story is about  Jesuit priests who face violence and persecution in ancient Japan Andrew Garfield  (The amazing Spider-man) will play Father Rodrigues (a Portuguese missionary) who will be helped in translation by the character Ken will portray.
